Best place on earth! I love the dmv its literally the equivalent of chuck e cheese to me! (Honestly zero sarcasm in this post. I truly love the dmv)
I was given the run around and misled for several weeks trying to register my scooter just to have the clerk finally tell me i had to go to another city's dmv which should have been the first thing i was told, not told that after talking to and doing everything i was told i needed to and have been in to the dmv and waited four times now.
Drove clear over from west Olathe to the Mission location to pick up my personalized plates. They made me pull a number but managed to get to me fairly quickly (10 minutes) but then wanted to charge me an additional $5 to pick up my plate! I already paid $800 in taxes and fees to tag my 2 vehicles at the Olathe DMV and paid the $5 there because I got the joy of having to see their smiling faces and now you force me to drive 15 miles to pick up my stuff and charge me an extra $5 again! Ridiculous!
Online check in number is wrong and cost me 90 minutes of waiting outside the office. Also the staff at the check in/testing desk are extremely loud which is detrimental to all the people taking tests literally 5 feet away. These people should not be conducting themselves in such a way as to interfere with testing individuals.
